        (ii)  (1115).    What are the dhamma which are associated with asavas
                                   but are not asavas?
          
        There are dhamma which are associated with asavas.  Leaving aside the asavas (which are included in the dhamma associated with asavas), there are the aggregate of Sensation, the aggregate of Perception, the aggregate of Volitional Activities and the aggregate of Consciousness.
        ~These are the dhamma which are associated with asavas but are not asavas.

       
        (ii)  (1474).    What are the dhamma which are associated with asavas
                                      but are not asavas?

        Leaving aside asavas, there are the remaining demeritorious thoughts.
        ~These are the dhamma which are associated with asavas but are not asavas.

        Dhamma which are not associated with asavas should not be taken as asavas which are also associated with asavas, or as dhamma which are associated with asavas but are not asavas.
