29. Gantha Ganthaniya Duka:
(ii) (1151). What are the dhamma which are objects of bonds but are not bonds?
There are dhamma which are objects of bonds. Leaving aside the bonds (which are included in the objects of bonds), there are the remaining objects of asavas which are meritorious, demeritorious and neither-meritorious-nor-demeritorious dhamma of the Sensuous Sphere, the Fine Material Sphere and the Non-material Sphere which are the aggregate of Corporeality, the aggregate of Sensation, the aggregate of Perception, the aggregate of Volitional Activities, and the aggregate of Consciousness.
~These are the dhamma which are objects of bonds but are not bonds.
(ii) (1496). What are the dhamma which are objects of bonds but
are not bonds?
Leaving aside the bonds, there are: the remaining (12) demeritorious thoughts; (17) meritorious thoughts of the three spheres; (32) resultants of the three spheres; (20 types of) non-causative action, which are neither meritorious nor demeritorious, of the three spheres; and there is also all that is Corporeality.
~These are the dhamma which are objects of bonds but are not bonds.
Dhamma which are not objects of bonds should not be taken as dhamma which are bonds as well as objects of bonds, or as dhamma which are objects of bonds but are not bonds.
